1955 Jaguar XK140 OTS

1955 Jaguar XK140 OTS

Cotswold Blue / Green

Great original Jaguar XK140 with loads of patina and charm. Concours restored mechanics. The ultimate combination.

SOLD to Germany

Great combination of original authentic looks with concours restored mechanics !!

This car was imported from the USA in the late eighties and has been stored in a barn in the Netherlands since then, waiting for better times to come. After recovering a few years ago, the car was in a great original state. It has developed a wonderful degree of patina and charm over the years and has stayed largely authentic and unmoleshed. Therefore the bodywork and interior trim was taken of the car and preserved in its original state. A five year – no expense spared – restoration was started on the chassis, engine and drivetrain.

Originally produced as a XK140 SE on February 15th 1955 and periodically fitted with a C-type head and H8 carburettor setup. This car was supplied to its first owner, Carl Neel Miller, Hollywood, California USA through the Jaguar dealer Hornburg, Los Angeles USA.

Absolute ideal car for classic rallies. Great unrestored authentic looks with loads of patina and charm that will turn heads wherever you go in combination with reliable restored mechanics to the ultimate specification. Now fitted with a modern five speed gearbox for perfect driving conditions, the original gearbox comes with the car.

Comes with Heritage Certificate, its original jack, tools and sidescreens, all original parts, and is on Dutch EU registration. Ready for some enjoyable driving experience.
