Great Austin Healey 100-4 BN1 that was originally supplied in the ultra rare colour combination of Coronet Cream with red interior trim.
During December 1953 and January 1954 the factory produced only around 300 coronet cream cars with blue interior trim and around 300 coronet cream cars with red interior trim.
This car was produced on the 28th of December 1953 and despatched from the factory on 15 January 1954. Destination for this Austin Heaey was the USA via Donald Healey Motor Company in Warwick.
The car is currently painted red but under the dashboard and on the inside of the front wings the original coronet cream paint is still visible. In good driving condition and benefits from BN2 type front disc brakes and rear axle. Over the past few years the car stayed in France and was fully recommissioned with new wheels, tires, radiator, alternator, ingition, aluminium petrol tank and upgraded cooling fan. The car still remains its original hood and rare early original side screens.
Matching numbers with overdrive and wire wheels. Would make an easy restoration project to bring it back to its original colour of coronet cream.
The car on the last picture is an example of another car in the original coronet cream colour.
This Austin healey is currently on Dutch EU registration, in great driving condition and ready to be enjoyed. Comes with a Heritage Certificate that confirms its unique colour combination.
