This Jaguar E-type was produced on the 25th of January 1967 and dispatched on the 10th of February 1967 through Jaguar Cars New York, USA to its first owner Frederick V Akers, Culver City, California, USA.

This E-type was originally produced in black with black interior trim.
Probably early in its life the car was painted in Opalescent Gunmetal Grey. The engine bay and inside of the bonnet still wear the original black factory paint.
In 1992 the car was imported into The Netherlands where it was made ready for Dutch approval and received Dutch registration. It then drove a limited number of miles before it was put into long term storage as part of a large classic car collection.
After we acquired this car this year it went through a lengthy process of recomissioning at a specialist where all work was done to get the car reliably on the road again. There are invoices for almost 10.000,- Euro to show all the work done to the car.
The odometer shows a mileage of only 60.470 miles which is believed to be correct. The car is currently running in after its recommissioning and could do with some underbonnet polishing and detailing.
The car still retains an original black interior trim that is in absolute stunning as-new condition and gives the car a beautifull charm.
Some nice datails of this original car are the factory fitted Jaguar buckle seat belts, tinted windows, the factory body number written in crayon on the inside of the rear door and the original Californian license plate.
Apart from an early respray this car is in extreme original condition. The paint is presentable but shows signs of aging, the crome is reasonable and the interior trim is in absolutely stunning condition.This E-type is a perfect usable original car.
