Original Opalescent Gunmetal Grey with Red interior trim delivered car. First series 3.8 Jaguar E-type FHC with aluminium dashboard. Matching numbers.

This series 1 FHC was built on the 12th of March 1964 and delivered through the distributor M.J. Duff, St John’s, Newfoundland, to its first owner Gerald F Hayward, St John’s, Newfoundland. The original colour combination was Opalescent Gunmetal with Red interior trim.

In 1988 the car was imported from Canada into the UK. A couple of years ago the car came to the Netherlands where it stayed in a collection of classic cars.

There is a large history file with invoices, MOT test certificates, insurance documents etc from 1983 until present date.

The car shows an older restoration, the paint is in a not so good condition and could benefit from a repaint. Now running again after recommissioning but could do with some more detailing.

Currently on Dutch EU registration with a fresh APK/TUV/MOT/CT, matching numbers and comes with a Heritage Certificate and a large history and service file.
