Very nice first series Jaguar E-type 3.8 FHC in cream with red interior trim.

This car was built on the 19th of June 1963 in Cream with Red interior trim and dispatched on the 4th of July 1963 to Jaguar Cars, New York, USA.

Since 2010 subject to a no expense spared program to get the car in an ultimate reliable and perfectly handling driving condition. Therefore the following useful upgrades have been made:

– modern 5 speed gearbox conversion with uprated new lighter clutch (original gearbox comes with the car)

– uprated front brake calipers and discs

– alternator conversion and high torque starter

– electronic ignition

– aluminium radiator and modern electric cooling fan

– main battery switch

Furthermore the car benefits from a speedometer in kilometres per hour and a period style radio with electric operated antenna.

This E-type is one of the best driving cars we have had in our collection, the roadhandling is perfectly balanced and the beautifully running engine in combination with the 5-speed gearbox make this car a real pleasure to drive.

The car is on Dutch EU registration and comes with a Heritage Certificate and many invoices from the undertaken work.

Beautiful red interior trim with aluminium dash panels and a useful armrest and very nice chrome trim.
