SOLD to Germany

Original 1962 Austria supplied Jaguar E-type FHC.
This Jaguar E-type was produced on 21 June 1962. It was then supplied through the Austrian Jaguar distributor Georg Hans Koch to its first owner, Amsler Martin Industrieofenbau, Vienna, Austria. The original colour combination was Opalescent Bronze with Beige interior trim. It was not until 1966 before the car received its first registration.
Currently the car is in driving condition, on Dutch EU registration and has a valid APK (MOT) until 04-2012. The car has been repainted red, but on the subframes in the engine compartment, the original and unique Opalescent Bronze colour can still be seen.
To make this car a reliable driver it would need a service and a new clutch. We leave it up to the new owner to change the clutch because it gives the possibility to change the transmission to a 5 speed gearbox if required.
The car is matching numbers, completely solid and rust free. The interior trim is very presentable and the paint has an overall good appearance but has some marks here and there on close inspection.
Nice car, with little work to make a reliable driver or could be used as basis for an easy reconditioning.
