Beautiful 1961 Jaguar MKII in British Racing Green with Beige interior trim fitted with a 3.8 litre engine and automatic transmission.

Originally supplied in California, USA and imported into the Netherlands in 1999 where it was subject of a 3 year, no expense spared restoration, to perfect standard.

The body was completely stripped, sandblasted and zinc treated inside and outside and the car received a professional full bare metal respray in British Racing Green. During the assembly process the car received a Waxoil anti-rust treatment.

Professional engine and gearbox rebuild, new suspension, brake system, electric wiring. All wood re-veneered and all chrome parts re-chromed. A full new leather interior trim was installed including all door and side panels trimmed in leather, full isolation, new carpets and headlining.

In total the restoration took over 1500 hours and total costs close to €100.000,-

The car comes with chrome wire wheels, fog lamps, reclinable seats.

Uprated with many useful components like double caliper front brakes, enlarged rear brakes, stainless steel exhaust and Michelin tires.

This car has only done 2000 miles since restoration and still is in perfect condition both cosmetically as well as mechanically. Must be seen to appreciate its detail of perfection. A truly stunning car.

Currently on Dutch EU registration and comes with an extensive history file, invoices and full photographic record of the restoration.
